Knowing the power of prayer, and trusting in the continued presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, we recognize that special times of prayer can be beneficial to all. Some of the greatest saints, who achieved great things for the Church and the world, spent a great deal of time in monasteries in prayer. Our Lord Himself drew to the desert to pray and to encounter the Father there. Moses in prayer before the Lord successfully petitioned for the good of the people and God heard his prayers. The Practice of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is a way to sacrifice an hour of your time praying for the needs of our community and world. It is also a way to draw closer to the Lord and to be a more balanced person and a more effective minister to others.
We are happy to offer the opportunity to Adore Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament in our parish. All are welcome to join us on Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Please use the door at the back of the parish Center marked Adoration Chapel to enter.
We always welcome new volunteers who wish to commit to attending adoration for 1 hour at a time or serve as substitutes. If you can help please contact Fr. Victor Sierra at 508-221-4325..
