Announcing the Good News
Knowing the power of prayer, and trusting in the continued presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, we recognize that special times of prayer can be beneficial to all. Some of the greatest saints, who achieved great things for the Church and the world, spent a great deal of time in monasteries in prayer. Our Lord Himself drew to the desert to pray and to encounter the Father there. Moses in prayer before the Lord successfully petitioned for the good of the people and God heard his prayers. The Practice of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is a way to sacrific an hour of your time praying for the needs of our community and world. It is also a way to draw closer to the Lord and to be a more ballanced person and a more effective minister to others.
We have two established and regular times for Eucharistic Adoration:
WEDNESDAYS: Holy Rosary Church is open from 6:00am to 8:00pm with the Blessed Sacrament exposed
for prayer (except during the 9:00am Mass during which it is covered). To insure that prayer
is being offered during this time and for safety of the Blessed Sacrament, one or two
individuals are scheduled to be present as the Adorer for each hour time slot.
FIRST FRIDAYS: Each First Friday of the Month there is Mass at 6:30pm followed by adoration from 7:00 -
7:30pm. Priests are available for confessions during this adoration time.
If you are interested in being placed on the schedule to be a Eucharistc Adorer at a specific time, please contact the coordinator.
