Annunciation Parish maintains the tradition of Catholic Education in Gardner that has been a part of the life of the church for generations. The combining of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School and Sacred Heart School has formed Holy Family Academy. We continue to work to both carry on the traditions of these schools while we forge ahead to create a viable and meaningful educational experience for the 21st century.
Holy Family Academy is a fully accredited Pre-K through 8th grade educational insitution. We provide affordable tuition options and scholarships to help support parent's decision to offer their children this well rounded educational experience.
Faith-Based elementary education has been at the heart of the Church's mission and helps to deepen the faith of young people to help them engage their faith in a world that is increasingly secular. We seek to provide a quality elementary education, while also giving student the exposure to Scripture and their religious tradition which alow them to live out their faith authentically. We give them the ability to bring faith into their lives - and to see that faith in the Lord and academic knowledge are compatible and come from the same source. Our school gives us the flexibility to work to build a tight-knit community of faith and love that combines the knowledge of the world with the light of faith.

Click to read our brief feature: Why Catholic Education Still Matters
Friday night, June 6th our 8th Graders were able to participate in their Holy Family Academy graduation. Due to covid-19, we were limited to the number of attendees and made necessary accommodations for social distancing.
Being able to hold the graduation ceremony in Holy Rosary Church made this night even more special for all graduates and families. Father Steve Lundrigan was our celebrant for the Mass. He reminded our graduating students that Annunciation Parish and teachers at Holy Family Academy will be there for them as they continue their education. The night was filled with excitement, smiles and blessings that all were healthy and safe.
Our graduates are: Christian Altomonte, Lauren Burby, Brady Burpee, Ron Burton III, Aidan Crawford, Benjamin Gosselin, Dylan Judkins, Jaci Langford, Eve Moyen, Jaelynn Mucci, Ella Rhodes and Bryant Ye.
Christian Altomonte received the HFA Boy Trophy and Jaci Langford received the HFA Girl Trophy; along with Lauren Burby who won the Bishop Daniel P. Reilly Book Award. Eve Moyen received the Bernadian Medal/$500 from St. Bernard’s and the Kymalinen Scholarship $500 for students moving onto a Catholic High School.
We wish our students many successes during their high school years
