Chapter 4- Ordinary Lives in an Extraordinary Context: the Scripture Readings
Do you keep a bible at home? Is it a special family keepsake or an heir loom from a relative? What role does scripture play in your family's lives?
Chapter 5- Making Sense out of Life: The Homily
In what ways have you/or can you become a "living homily"?
Provide some examples of when you have integrated our Catholic Beliefs into your daily life, such as at work or on the street.
Chapter 6 - In God we Trust: The Profession of Faith
What are some of the fears and doubts you've experienced in your life that eventually helped affirm your faith?
Chaoter 7 - Pray as if Your Life Depended on It: The Prayer of the Faithful
When you pray, are you mindful of our total dependance on God? Do you bring all your need, concerns and desires to God? What do you pray about most often?
What are some of the gifts that you have experienced when you reached out to those who are ill, poor or have suffered a tragedy?
