What We Believe: The Beauty of the Catholic Faith

Has it been a while since you reflected on the core beliefs that shape us as Catholics?
Join us this summer and take time to revisit the core teachings of our Catholic Faith as we use Ascension Press’ series What We Believe: The Beauty of the Catholic Faith. On Wednesdays throughout the summer, beginning June 7th, we will gather at 6:30 PM in the Parish Center to watch a video and discuss the material presented. This series will offer an overview of key teachings such as Divine Revelation, God: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Creation and Fall ,The Church, The Sacraments, Catholic Spirituality and the Moral Life.
Although this series is especially appropriate for those who want to refresh what they learned when they were young or who have recently returned to church, all are welcome. Please note that this series is not a substitute for the RCIA process which prepares those who wish to become Catholic.
Participants are welcome to simply stop in, enjoy the video and the flow of the conversation or may choose to purchase the accompanying book, workbook, and online access for themselves through AscensionPress.com.

August 9 - Union with God: The life of prayer
Auguest 23 - The Moral Life: becoming more Christlike
August 30 - Our Mission of Mercy and the 10 Commandments
